Golden Milk Recipe 💛
This treat is not only delicious but has a lot of great benefits, like reduced inflammation, boosted immunity, and aiding digestion- among others!
Here’s how I’ve been making it:
-a chunk of fresh ginger (like 1 inch)
-unsweetened almond milk
-a few shakes of turmeric powder
-one shake of cinnamon powder
-spoonful of coconut oil
-You can use anything to sweeten (NOT SUGAR); honey, a date, maple syrup, brown rice syrup, etc...
-add a tiny dash of black pepper to really activate the beneficial compounds in turmeric
👉🏼Throw it all in the blender & BLEND
👉🏼Throw it all in a pot to heat up on stovetop
👉🏼Strain it back into the blender to remove ginger pulp (I've been using a little colander just placed on top of the blender)
👉🏼Give it just a little more blending to get it all frothy and good ☺️

UPDATE: I’ve been juicing my ginger in batches lately to help streamline this process. If you get really into this drink like I did, consider doing the same. Here’s my process!
I've loved having this at the end of the night, just before bed (it can help you digest while you sleep!) but it's good anytime of day! Also can be drank cold for a refreshing treat in the warmer months ;)
